Hotel Residence Hamza
Only decent budget option in town. Friendly, as I found many of Tat’s residents. Room comfy enough. Corne de Gazelle (local croissant) breakfast better than the usual lame affairs. Besides lads from Shikoku & Silesia met in Tunis YH, only other backpacker encountered in two weeks Tunisian roaming: nice lady from Tokyo. Speaking of antelope horns, La Gazelle next door is the only bar about. Gets a bit rowdy, but a vibrant atmosphere heightened by the rainless forked lightning storm.
